Sasha Caddell
“I like Autumn walks, followed by a fireside glass of red wine and watching Australia beat Wales in rugby. My favourite Pilates exercise is Mermaid on the Wunda Chair”
Sasha is a former professional dancer with extensive experience in a number of different dance disciplines. In 1998, she graduated with BA in Performing Arts from Brunel University (Rambert Dance School).
Unfortunately, shortly after graduation she suffered an injury that would eventually bring her professional performing career to a close.
Having successfully used the Pilates Method to assist in her rehabilitation, she decided to retrain as a Pilates Teacher in 1998.
Sasha assists with precision and accuracy in refinement of movement for a wide variety of clientele with differing personal needs.
Sasha is known for being tenacious and enthusiastic with her clients’ development. She specialises in the rehabilitative aspects of Pilates and has extensive experience in assisting patients with an array of pre-and post-operative conditions, as well as working in tandem with other healthcare professionals helping to improve their overall general health and well-being.
Sasha seeks to promote self-accountability in health, fitness and well-being.
In addition to her work as a practitioner Sasha is also a fully qualified and experienced teacher trainer and examiner for the Pilates Foundation UK, having successfully trained over 20 Pilates Teachers with a 100% pass rate.
This involves tutoring and lecturing on a wide variety of subjects including Anatomy and Physiology and Movement Analysis. She is also a former chair of the Pilates Foundation Board of Directors.

Gae Dann
“I love long walks in the forest, the sound of gentle rain, being with my family around the table sharing cake and conversation. I love the Pilates exercises that make me feel childlike, rolling around on the floor, ‘Seal’ always makes me smile and laugh.”
Since graduating with a degree in choreography & the history of arts, Gae has worked as an informal educator, facilitating spaces where people could explore movement as a way of reconnecting to self, to others & to the world around them.
Gae discovered pilates as her own pathway back to the body, after the loss of two significant family members, where the impact of grief left her feeling bound in the body & restricted in breath.
This discovery of Pilates & it’s exponential benefits for the body, mind & soul led Gae to train as a mat teacher with Sasha in London.
After completing this training Gae worked for 5 years in a physiotherapist clinic as apart of the rehabilitation team, teaching group mat classes & 1:1’s.
It was while teaching there, that her interest in how the mind & body are intrinsically entwined & that both need attending to for the fullness of heath to flourish that led her to further her training, qualifying as a comprehensive apparatus teacher with Pilates Yoga Movement (PYM) in London.
At the end of this training Gae was invited to join the team of experienced teachers at PYM’s prestigious studio in London.
Gae’s classes are described as being “holistic in approach, encouraging clients to build an awareness of the breath & movement, while fostering a sense of curiosity, joy & acceptance”.
Gae is at present continuing her training to become a qualified Mindfulness, Meditation & Compassion teacher, deepening her interest & ability to best support individuals & groups with their journey to embodied health.
